The English Department will be having their annual grad school info-session on Friday, March 9 2012 in LB-646 from 11 am to 1 pm! Among the topics will be — researching and assessing graduate programs, applying for scholarships, TA and RA positions, drafting research statements, arranging letters of reference, etc. Several professors and students will be there to give their testimonies on these topics such as Manish Sharma, Kate Sterns, as well as Sina Queyras, and Amélie Jackson and John Casey will be talking from a student perspective. Come and enjoy some free advice, something that can be tough to come by, especially considering the topic at hand.
