Q.U.E.U.C. is back and bigger than ever! This is an excellent opportunity for undergraduate students in English departments across Quebec to meet with fellow students and present their ideas, while also gaining valuable experience for post-graduate studies and careers. Essays may address literature from any genre, region, or historical period. Students from other departments than English are also welcome to submit papers from their fields. Completed essays should be approximately 7-8 pages in length, for a reading time of 15 minutes with a discussion period following each paper presentation. The deadline for submission is FEBRUARY 1st. Last year’s conference included a party at Dr.Jessica Riddell’s Sherbrooke farm house, a wine and cheese, a plenary speech by Concordia’s own Jason Camlot, as well as play by Canadian playwright Sally Clark.
Dates for the Conference are: March 18-20. There will be a shuttle going to BU and back to Montreal for students to attend (details on cost pending). All students stay in (new!) dorms on the BU campus. Concordia students can submit papers to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
