The Arts and Science Federation of Associations will be hosting its very first Academic Series. This launch event will consist of two panel discussions featuring alumni professionals from the different career fields in Social Sciences and Humanities. This Series is intended to bring together the three constituencies and raise awareness on the importance of early career planning for students. In order to meet the diverse student needs and provide them with a well balanced perspective on career planning, the panels will be composed of a moderator and six (6) panelists including three (3) alumni, one (1) career advisor from Concordia’s Career and Placement Services, one (1) career counsellor from Counselling and Development and one (1) current student who is also working in his/her respective field. The date for the Social Science and Humanities panel is Tuesday, January 25, 2011 from 4:00-6:00 p.m, whereas the Science panel will be on Thursday, January 27, 2011 from 4:00-6:00p.m. Both panels will be held in room H-767.
